- עֶדְנָהf. (b. h.; עָדַן) (rejuvenation, (in homilet.) 1) (v. עֲדִי II) ornaments. Gen. R. s. 48 (ref. to Gen. 18:12) היתה לי ע׳ תכשיטים נאיםוכ׳ ‘I should have ‘ednah (= עדי נאה), beautiful finery (to make me attractive) (ref. to Ez. 16:11). 2) period, menses. Ib., v. עִידּוֹן.
